Terms of Service

BahamaBooking is a marketplace and booking platform for stays, charters, rentals, and related experiences in and around The Bahamas. These Terms of Service govern your use of the website, your account, and any related booking, payment, messaging, or host tools currently available through the platform.

By accessing or using BahamaBooking, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the platform.

You may create an account as a guest or as someone interested in hosting or partnering. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure, for the accuracy of the information you provide, and for activity that occurs through your account.

We may suspend, limit, or remove access to accounts that violate these terms, misuse the platform, or create risk for other users or BahamaBooking.

Guests may browse listings, create accounts, store payment methods, communicate through supported messaging tools, and submit or manage reservations when those features are available.

Hosts and partners may be required to complete onboarding, provide payout details, and satisfy any approval or verification steps before listings or reservation tools are fully enabled.

Listing content, availability, pricing, and reservation terms may come from BahamaBooking, hosts, partners, or connected operational workflows. You agree not to copy, misuse, scrape, or republish listing content without permission.

We may edit, remove, reject, or limit listing content or user-submitted content if needed for safety, quality, compliance, or operational reasons.

Payments on the platform may be processed through Stripe or other service providers we use from time to time. Stored payment methods, payment confirmations, billing events, and payout preferences are subject to the applicable processor requirements.

Charges may appear on a payment statement as Bahama Ventures Inc. or BVI. Hosts and partners are responsible for the accuracy of the payout information they provide, including PayPal details or wire instructions.

Reservation requests, confirmations, changes, cancellations, and refunds may be subject to listing-specific terms, operating rules, or future cancellation policies published on the platform.

Until those policies are further expanded in product, BahamaBooking may review reservation disputes, payment issues, or operational exceptions case by case.

You agree to use the platform lawfully and respectfully. You must not attempt to access unauthorized data, interfere with platform operations, impersonate others, abuse messaging features, or use BahamaBooking for fraud, spam, or harmful conduct.

We may investigate misuse and take action including content removal, account restriction, cancellation of access, or cooperation with law enforcement where appropriate.

BahamaBooking is provided on an evolving basis as we continue to build and refine features. Some tools may be limited, in beta, unavailable, or changed without notice.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BahamaBooking and Bahama Ventures Inc. disclaim warranties regarding uninterrupted availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the extent permitted by law, Bahama Ventures Inc. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform.

Our total liability for claims relating to BahamaBooking will be limited to the amount you paid to us through the platform in the twelve months before the claim arose, or one hundred U.S. dollars if no such payment was made.

We may update these terms as the product matures, including to reflect new booking, payout, messaging, legal, or operational workflows. When we make material updates, we may post revised terms on the site or update the effective date.

Your continued use of BahamaBooking after updated terms are posted means you accept the revised terms.
